Description

This is a simple and affordable way to boost health and create a fun and healthy treat. They are soothing for the gut and reduce inflammation. I also love that they are a fun way to get kids to consume nutritionally dense power foods – find some fun-shaped molds and it’s even more fun! My eldeberry syrup recipe quickly became my most requested and asked-about recipe. Turning my syrup into gummies take less than 10 minutes to make! I hope you love it in your home too!

Instructions

  • GREASE silicone molds or glass container – I dab a bit of oil in each mold and then use my fingers to make sure it’s evenly applied, but you can also use a pastry brush or paper towel to apply too)
  • WHISK 1/4c of cool elderberry syrup in a 16oz or larger pourable container, a glass measuring cup works great for this and QUICKLY stir in the powdered gelatin.
  • ADD 1/2c of hot water to the above mixture and stir until smooth.
  • ADD remaining 3/4c of elderberry syrup and whisk quickly to remove any lumps.
  • POUR mixture into silicone molds or glass containers.
  • CHILL for 1-2 hours or until firm
  • POP out of molds or slice gummies in a glass container.
  • STORE in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.

Notes

  • Gelatin is really good for healthy hair and nails and also improves skin elasticity.
