I’m a wife and mama who loves all things health and wellness. I ask questions and regularly challenge the “we’ve always done it this way, so why stop now” narrative.
I love learning all the ways our bodies are uniquely designed to heal, and when given the right environment, to thrive! An environment that limits chemical exposures while being given access to nutrient dense foods.
I love finding new and creative ways to eat whole and nourishing foods daily. I love learning how to brew my own kombucha, bake sourdough bread, harvest fresh elderberries and rosehips to turn into syrup or turn the bones from high quality meat into rich bone broth for soups.
I love a good meme and laughing hard, with tears steaming down my face! I love Jesus a lot and try my best to represent who He is in my life, daily.
Even though my world of health & wellness began with my parents and their love of all things alternative and healthy living, my own journey began a few years after graduating from college when I felt the nudge to take a deeper personal dive into nutrition and headed back to school for nutritional consulting. Fast forward to 2015 after the birth of my second baby and a confusing Hashimotos diagnosis and I became passionate about digging even deeper into all the things that could affect my health and how I could support my own healing. It was at this time that I found Beautycounter and learned more than I ever thought possible about the beauty industry and the harmful chemicals being used in personal care products every day! In early 2016 I linked arms with them as a Brand Advocate and have continued sharing passionately about clean beauty and all the ways to live a cleaner and healthier life ever since. My goal in the work I do in this Clean Becky space is to plant seeds of empowering information as a partner with you on your own clean living journey. Progress over perfection always. We can do it all, but not all in one day. One positive, clean living step at a time.
