I’m a wife and mama who loves all things health and wellness. I ask questions and regularly challenge the “we’ve always done it this way, so why stop now” narrative. My goal in the work I do in this Clean Becky space is to plant seeds of empowering information as a partner with you on your own clean living journey. Progress over perfection always. We can do it all, but not all in one day. One positive, clean living step at a time.

  • We went to Disney World a few weeks ago. 
I’ve resisted Disney trips for a long time. 
I grew up in the boycott Disney era and there are just literally thousands of places the hubs and I would rather go, but we also wanted to experience Disney WITH our children and they had wanted to go for a long time. 
It was a very last minute trip. We planned it within just a few weeks (mind you we had been chatting to people for years and had even talked to a Disney travel planner at one point several years back)! It was an adventure, the temps were at a historical low🥶(one point it was warmer in Colorado than Florida, but we’d honestly prefer that over too hot), but I have to say, Disney knows how to do things; details, customer service, food (except Magic Kingdom, food scene there needs work😏), scenery, music, smells. Literally everything architected to create a fully immersive experience and while I can’t say I will ever be a frequent flyer to Disney, it was really fun to experience it with the family. 

Also, It’s a Small World Ride is longer than expected, weirder than people let on, but absolutely one that you shouldn’t miss, because there’s just nothing quite like it😆. 

Favorite ride - in all my 40+ years of riding rides at theme parks - was hands down Flight of Passage on Pandora in Animal Kingdom, wow, just wow!
  • Sharing how I use the Pilates straps on my @tonal to turn it into a reformer! #notanad just a product we use and love in our home to make dynamic, instructor led workouts accessible anytime of day or night. 

We’ve had our Tonal for about 4 years and have loved the workouts and instructors. My husband uses it super consistently, but I had honestly stopped using it much at all🫣. When my husband saw that they had added a new Pilates instructor and that you could add the reformer strap accessory, he surprised me with the as a gift for Christmas, knowing I’m a sucker for these types of workouts. 
I’ve done a few with the straps so far and have been shocked at how these simple (intense) body movements can create such complete soreness in all the places I want to target! So I’m kinda hooked on them atm! 
When I posted a poll in stories, it was a unanimous vote that you all did indeed want me to show you how these straps created a reformer and what a Tonal Pilates workout looked like, so here you go! 

Let me know if you have a Tonal👇! If so, do you have a favorite instructor or workout program you’re loving? I need to get back into it and I’d like to do more than just the Pilates to give me variety so I don’t get bored, lol!

Are you a must have your bed made daily or a doesn’t matter either way? 

My favorite healthy bedroom tips: 
- fresh air : window open a little all year round for fresh air while we sleep.
- Choose organic linens whenever possible or at the very least cotton ones that are Oeko-Tex certified. Comforter is @coyuchi brand and have had for more than 5 years. Sheets are organic from @onequince (LOVE their quality). 
- Wash and refresh at least every other week. When sickness is present, I swap pillowcases daily and change sheets weekly. 
- If you have them - use a humidifier in the winter (it’s DRY in Colorado) and air purifier all year round.
