Hi, you!

I’m a wife and mama who loves all things health and wellness. I ask questions and regularly challenge the “we’ve always done it this way, so why stop now” narrative. My goal in the work I do in this Clean Becky space is to plant seeds of empowering information as a partner with you on your own clean living journey. Progress over perfection always. We can do it all, but not all in one day. One positive, clean living step at a time.

Want to learn more about my favorite products to use in my laundry room and all over my home?
COMMENT ‘laundry’ and I’ll send the info your way!
  • A simple Costco haul to replenish a few things and prep for some hosting coming up.

A few things not captured, because I forgot to keep filming.

- organic Avocado oil
- kitchen trash bags (because massive box that lasts us a year)
- yard cleanup bags
- brisket to be smoked for Easter family dinner
- organic chicken tenderloins
- a bag each of sweet potatoes & baby potatoes to be roasted for Easter dinner.

I will also often stock up on organic butter, organic hemp & chia seeds, and other nuts & seeds. As well as organic all-purpose flour, Archer Farm beef sticks, organic rice, canned beans and chicken broth. The frozen veggies and fruits are hands down the BEST price point for the size of bags and we love the broccoli & green beans best! You do need an extra freezer if you stock up on a lot of these things. Which if you’re an ingredient household and you don’t have an extra freezer, how do you do it? I couldn’t live without my extra freezer!

Tell me👇your favorites to grab from Costco!

If you know me, you know that not only do I love to keep a clean & tidy home, but I also only want to do it with the least amount of products and anything I do have must pass my “is it actually non-toxic and safe for my family and our pets” screening. Now this doesn’t mean that you won’t find a product or two in my cabinet that wouldn’t pass this test, but it does mean that these products are never my daily go tos!

Indoor air quality is some of the WORST air you can breath, due to the fact that our furnishings are constantly off-gassing chemicals from manufacturing processes, we often clean our homes with products that are heavily fragranced with more off-gassing toxins, AND we rarely if ever open windows to recirculate air.

I prefer simple methods to clean my home. Stock very minimal products - prefer multi-purpose, healthier for us options. AND we invest in high quality equipment that LASTS, to quickly clean up messes and reduce the amount of time spent cleaning too.

Some of the easiest ways to clean and improve your indoor environment are:
1. OPEN WINDOWS often (recirculates air)
2. Vacuum DAILY (this reduces dust from furnishings, etc, which lowers the VOC load in your home). I LOVE my Dyson. Longest lasting, while still deep cleaning, vacuum I’ve ever owned.
3. Stock high quality, multi-purpose cleaners. My long time go to has been @humblesuds - save $ via link in my profile💕. Their products are phenomenal and work for all the things; laundry soap, illuminate, scour, spray, revival.
4. Clean messes as soon as possible. The longer something sits the harder it gets to remove, especially pet messes.

FYI: the worst cleaning chemical particles & VOCs are much heavier than air, meaning that when you clean your home with these things the vapors very quickly begin to settle at floor level, so the population most affected by these chemicals are small children and pets, because their air is most deeply impacted.

Do your research. Simpler is better. Less is more. Invest in a good vacuum and if you have pets & kids, get a Little Green Bissell, you won’t regret it!

What would you add? Want my list of cleaning go tos?
